I Come Out Of Hiding To Commemorate Something Else

Sakurayume is now celebrating 20,000 views! It feels like only yesterday I was celebrating 10,000 views and in reality, it wasn’t all that long ago. Thanks again to everyone.

I’ll review the new AAA and Luzmelt singles tomorrow; even if it kills me.

Happy 6 Month Anniversary to Sakurayume!

Sakurayume was launched on February 9, 2010. I just noticed that today marks my 6 month anniversary as a blogger. I just wanted to thank everyone who has read, contributed, and inspired me. I think my readers and the unforgettable friends I’ve made along the way have kept me here so long. Thank you all for your kindness! Let’s hope I last another 6 months… and 6 months after that… and…

Its Still Cooler Than Your Mom, Honestly

The site’s name is now just “Sakurayume.” I’m trying to think up some quirky description to go with it. Any ideas? Sure, the “cooler than your mom” thing was cute, but I felt this makes the site more recognizable/easy to remember. Like or dislike the change? Leave me a comment!

10,000 Views!

What seemed like an illusion has now become a reality! Sakurayume has received 10,000 views! We are fast approaching a whopping 500 comments, and have set a new record for views today at 274 and still counting! Thank you to everyone who reads and contributes. Its been a fun five months since I started!

The winner of this week’s poll, “pick your favorite FMA character” is Edward Elric! To this I say “DUH!” He’s the main character, of course. (even though I voted for Mustang *cough cough*)

The new poll is up, and its all about Visual Kei, baby! I decided to make a VK poll due to my (re)discovery of the song “Tightrope” by D. I cannot stop listening to that song!

My next review will be Miliyah Kato’s “Last Love.” I know its coming a week late, but I’ve been working to do requests first. Also I got a job.

The winner of my new banner poll was “something j-poppy!” The readers have spoken, so I have ditched my cute little Spinarak for a Koda Kumi banner. I’m not the biggest Kuu fanatic on the planet, but I thought it would be fun to playfully make a clever poke at the title of one of her upcoming songs.
